Concept Paper – Project Cycle Management Training


Introduction:
The PCM training aims to support good management practices and effective decision making throughout the project management cycle – from programming, through to identification, formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.  The course aims to promote consistency and clarity of approach, while allowing for the operational flexibility required of a dynamic and diverse external assistance programme. 

The course aims to strengthen the capacities of the teams carrying out any other humanitarian programmes/projects to assess, plan, implement, monitor and evaluate any results-driven interventions. It provides tools to analyze problems and stakeholders, define objectives, determine activities and monitor interventions based on the populations needs.

PCM provides an overall analytical and decision making framework, which must nevertheless be complemented by the application of other specific ‘technical’ and ‘process’ tools.

Objective:
Ø      All the participants will be able to use the appropriate tools to completely manage and handle any humanitarian result-driven interventions at the end of the course.

Ø      All the participants will be able to get the complete knowledge of Assessment, Planning, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation at the end of the course.

Introduction:
Resource management is one of the key elements that influence in all the day-to-day activities. Henceforth, it is a vital subject to learn more about the management of the several resources especially in the journey of humanitarian aspects.

There are different kinds of resources that influence in our human endeavor. This course will elloborate all of them in the effective use of different aspects. The participants will learn about the natural and other resources that existing at the environment and be aware of using them in a very effective way. It also help the participants to manage the resources effectively and efficiently.

Objective:
Training: By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to

Ø      Describe the different kinds of resources that surrounded them in their environment.
Ø      Diverse of natural and unnatural resources and manage them properly and effectively.
Ø      Explain the need and usage of indoor and out door resources at their work.
Ø      Be sure of being pessimistic on the management of  the all possible and exisiting resources around them.
Ø      Identify values, gaps, and needs in the setting for prevention and response to waste of resources.

Methodology:
A variety of training methods are used in each of the modules. Methods include small group work, individual work, games, exercises, lecture, and large group discussions. Trainers should take care to avoid lengthy lecture or large group discussions, always remembering that individual participants learn through different methods.

Concept Paper - Basic Techniques in Construction Training


Introduction:
The workshop combines data, exercises and practice in a mix designed for optimal achievement.

Participants deliver presentations that are power pointed and critiqued. They participate in exercises to prepare them with proper tools and techniques when undergoing any building constructions. The program allows for a lot of interaction and discussions among the participants as well as with the facilitator.

The Power Point Presentation, Practical exercises, case studies, activity games, films and eyes breaks will be exploited extensively during the course.

Introduction
